该项目总投资10.8个亿,是中国银行保险信息技术管理有限公司(简称中国银保信)于2020年与乌兰察布市人民政府达成投资意向协议后,在乌兰察布市建设的数据中心,并设立数据分公司。项目依托乌兰察布市优越的自然条件和区位优势,建设完成后将成为符合国家金融行业安全要求的新型绿色低碳数据中心,从而进一步推进“东数西算”工程和南贵北乌大数据发展格局,夯实我国数字经济发展“底座”,对推动全国数据中心合理布局及中国数字经济化发展具有重要意义。
